One of the things that stand out to me when visiting a restaurant is if the service and establishment is welcoming. My first job was a hostess and later a server. I was only 15 years old. Quickly I learned that a customer’s experience in a restaurant starts with your hosts and servers. They engage with you as soon as you walk through the door. Next, it’s the quality, presentation, and consistency of the food. If the food looks good and taste good, guests are more than likely going to enjoy their experience. Lastly a memorable ambiance. It’s the icing on the cake! These are now all the things I love to experience when going out.
